What to measure before choosing your linen

  • Fitted sheets: measure the mattress width, length and full depth, including any topper that sits beneath the sheet. Check the pocket depth as well as the bed size.
  • Duvet covers and pillowcases: measure the inner or pillow itself. Match its width and length to the relevant guide rather than relying on the size name alone.
  • Flat sheets, blankets and bedspreads: allow for the amount of overhang or tuck-under you want, as well as the mattress dimensions.
  • Curtains: check the track or rod width, required finished drop and heading style against the curtain guide.

Check the combined mattress and topper depth against the fitted sheet pocket. If the available sizes do not match your measurements, use our custom linen sizing service to discuss the finished size you need.

What should I send for a hotel or multi-room order?

List each room or bed type with its mattress dimensions, the linen items required and the quantity of each size. Keep duvet-inner and pillow measurements separate so the quotation can match the full linen set.
