Policy
We describe our products, sizes, fabrics and care as accurately as we can. Colours can differ because of screen settings, lighting, dye lots and fabric batches, and small tolerances in measurement, colour, finish and texture are normal in textiles. Availability, specifications, prices and lead times can change. If an error affects your order, we will contact you to correct it, offer an alternative, or cancel and refund the affected item.
An order is accepted only once payment has been received and Linen and Co has confirmed it. We may decline or cancel an order for a pricing error, stock or supplier problem, payment problem, suspected fraud, unavailable product or incorrect information, and we will refund anything you have paid for an order we cancel.
A written quotation holds its items, quantities and prices for seven days. Delivery is not part of a quotation, because it depends on your address and is priced at checkout. After seven days a quotation lapses and prices may change.
Made-to-order, custom-sized, altered, embroidered, personalised or specially sourced products are produced for your order. Please check measurements, quantities, colours, specifications and artwork approvals before production begins. Once you have approved your order, it goes into production as specified.
Delivery is governed by our shipping and delivery policy, and faults, damage, errors, returns and refunds by our returns and refunds policy. Please read both before you order.
You are responsible for following the care instructions on the product page and in our care guides. Damage caused by incorrect washing or drying, bleach, chemicals, misuse, incorrect installation, incorrect measurements, excessive heat, sun exposure, heavy commercial laundering beyond the product's normal use, or normal wear and tear is not a manufacturing fault.
We review each trade application and set the account type ourselves, as hospitality or reseller. Home dashboards are opened by approval. A customer cannot change an account type, and we may change or withdraw access if the information given was incorrect or the account is misused. Trade and reseller prices are private to your account: please do not share them. A reseller who prepares quotations for their own customers is responsible for those quotations and for the prices they charge.
Website content, product descriptions, photographs, design and branding belong to Linen and Co or its licensors and may not be copied or used without written permission. If you give us a logo, artwork or wording, you confirm that you have the right to use it, and you are responsible for it. Photos you upload to plan a room are kept private and used to help you plan.
To the extent the law allows, Linen and Co is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, delays outside our control, courier or supplier delays, or loss caused by incorrect information from the customer. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited as the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. We may update them from time to time, and the version on our website when you order applies to that order. Personal information is handled under our privacy policy. The website may link to other websites, and we are not responsible for them.
