  • Wash at or Below 30°C: Use a gentle wash with mild detergent and similar colours. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
  • Remove Hooks Before Washing: Always remove hooks, rings or track gliders before washing to protect the heading tape and fabric.
  • Protect the Heading: Do not pull, wring or stretch the taped heading. Smooth the heading back into place while drying.
  • No High Heat: Do not tumble dry. Avoid high heat and long periods in harsh direct sun.
  • Do Not Iron or Dry Clean: Arissa is not suitable for ironing or dry cleaning. Hang carefully and smooth the fabric by hand after washing.

How to Measure — Ready-Made Curtains

Measure your hanging point, full pole or track width and finished drop, then calculate fullness and quantity using the listed width for your chosen curtain.

  • For eyelet curtains, measure from the top of the curtain pole.
  • For taped curtains, measure from the track or hook position.
  • Use the correct hanging point before measuring the finished drop.

  • Keep the tape level and straight.
  • Record the total fitting width in centimetres.

  • Multiply the total pole or track width by 1.5 to 2 for the required fabric width.
  • Check the listed width per curtain because widths vary across the range.
  • Divide the required fabric width by the listed width per curtain and round up to a whole number of curtains.

For a simple look use less fullness; sheers often look best near 2× fullness. If you are unsure, contact us with your pole or track width and required drop before ordering.

Q: Are these curtains good for privacy?

A: They softly filter daylight and add daytime privacy. Because they are sheer, they will not block light and may be see-through at night when interior lights are on.

Q: How does the taped heading work?

A: The taped heading is designed to gather with curtain hooks and can be used on a curtain track or a pole with rings. Measure from your track or ring position to your desired finish, then choose Standard Length - 220cm or Extra Length - 250cm.
