Curtain Care Guide
Always follow the sewn-in care label first. Fabrics, coatings and headings vary between curtain ranges, so the product-specific label takes priority over general advice.
Routine Care
- Open and close curtains gently without pulling the fabric or heading.
- Remove surface dust carefully with a clean, soft brush or a low-suction vacuum attachment.
- Treat marks promptly, but avoid rubbing, soaking or applying harsh stain removers.
- Keep curtains fully dry before closing them for long periods or placing them in storage.
Before Washing
- Check the sewn-in label for the correct cleaning method, temperature and drying instructions.
- Remove all hooks, rings and track gliders from taped curtains.
- Handle eyelets and heading tape carefully. Do not pull, stretch or wring the heading.
- If the instructions are missing or unclear, contact us before washing.
Washing and Drying
- Use only the wash method and temperature stated on the care label.
- Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and aggressive stain treatments.
- Do not wring or roughly handle wet curtain fabric.
- Some sheer curtains may be hung or line-dried, while coated blockout curtains may require flat drying in the shade. Follow the product label.
- Avoid tumble drying, high heat and prolonged harsh sunlight unless the care label specifically allows it.
- Use low steam or a cool iron only where permitted. Never apply direct heat to a coated blockout backing.
