Overview

Cotton jersey is naturally soft, breathable and gently stretchy. Washing it with similar soft textiles and avoiding excessive heat helps preserve its shape, colour and relaxed hand feel.

Washing Instructions

  • Wash before first use.
  • Machine wash cold or at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
  • Use a mild liquid detergent and wash similar colours together.
  • Close fastenings and avoid washing with zips, hooks or rough towels that may snag the knit.

Drying Instructions

  • Line dry out of harsh direct sunlight where possible.
  • If tumble drying, use a low heat setting.
  • Remove promptly and reshape while slightly damp.
  • Do not over-dry, as high heat can affect stretch and shrinkage.

Ironing Instructions

  • Jersey is designed for a relaxed finish and normally does not require ironing.
  • If needed, use a cool-to-medium iron on the reverse side.
  • Do not press or stretch the fabric aggressively.

Bleaching Instructions

  • Do not use chlorine bleach.
  • Use only a colour-safe oxygen product when necessary and suitable for the colour.
  • Test stain treatments on an inconspicuous area first.

Care Warnings

  • Avoid fabric softener build-up and harsh detergents.
  • Do not wash with abrasive items that can pill or snag the knit.
  • Separate white, navy and charcoal items to protect colour.
  • Store only when completely dry.

Storage

  • Fold loosely in a cool, dry linen cupboard.
  • Avoid sealed plastic storage that can trap moisture.
  • Rotate sets to support even wear.
