These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Linen and Co's website and services. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Linen and Co specialises in premium quality linens including:

  • Bed linens (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers)
  • Table linens (tablecloths, napkins, runners)
  • Bath linens (towels, bath mats)
  • Curtains and window treatments
  • Custom and bespoke linen solutions

3. Orders and Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Custom orders require consultation and separate quotation
  • No minimum order quantities
  • Orders are subject to availability and acceptance

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in full before production or dispatch
  • Accepted payment methods: Card, Instant EFT, Normal EFT
  • Late payment may result in order delays or cancellation

5. Production and Delivery

  • Standard inventory: 2–5 business days processing
  • Custom orders: 7–15 business days (expedited options available for urgent orders)
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Risk passes to customer upon dispatch
  • Delivery charges apply as per current rate card

6. Customisation and Bespoke Services

  • Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable once production begins
  • Artwork and specifications must be approved in writing before production
  • Colour variations may occur due to monitor settings and fabric dye lots
  • Custom sizing and personalisation available upon request
  • Digital proofs provided for approval before production commences

7. Quality Assurance

  • All products meet our high-quality standards
  • Commercial-grade linens suitable for hospitality use and frequent laundering
  • Eco-friendly materials and sustainable production practices
  • Care instructions provided with all orders
  • Products tested for durability, colour fastness, and shrinkage

8. Returns and Refunds – Important Policy

Due to hygiene standards, the made-to-order nature of our products, and customisation practices, Linen and Co does not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, buyer's remorse, incorrect selection, or any reason unrelated to a manufacturing fault or error on our part.

Returns, refunds, or replacements will only be considered where:

  • The item is defective due to manufacturing fault
  • The item has been damaged prior to delivery
  • The item supplied is materially different from the order confirmed by Linen and Co
  • There is a verified manufacturing error

We do not accept returns on used, washed, laundered, soiled, altered, or customer-damaged items under any circumstances.

Because the majority of our products are custom made, made to order, personalised, or produced to client specifications, these items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable unless there is a verified defect or manufacturing error on our part.

You must notify us of any fault or issue within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to notify us within this timeframe will result in the order being deemed accepted, and no returns or refunds will be considered. We cannot accept claims for faults or damage reported after 48 hours of delivery.

When reporting a fault, you must provide clear supporting information, including photographs where requested, so that we can assess the issue.

Where a return is approved by Linen and Co, the remedy will be determined at our discretion and may include repair, replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

9. Care and Maintenance

  • Care instructions are provided with all products
  • Warranty is valid only if care instructions are followed
  • Professional laundering is recommended for commercial use
  • Stain treatment and maintenance guides are available on our website
  • Improper care voids warranty coverage

10. Warranty

Our products are warranted against manufacturing defects under normal use and care. Warranty coverage includes:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship
  • Seam failures and stitching defects
  • Colour fastness issues (within acceptable industry standards)

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from improper care or laundering
  • Normal wear and tear from use
  • Damage from bleach, harsh chemicals, or stain treatments
  • Fading from sun exposure or repeated washing
  • Damage caused by the customer

11. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, patterns, and content are proprietary to Linen and Co
  • Custom designs become joint property upon full payment
  • No reproduction of our designs without written consent
  • Clients may use custom designs for their own internal business use only

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product or replacement of the item
  • We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages
  • We are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) exclude liability

13. Bulk Orders and Account Management

  • Bulk order discounts available on request
  • Dedicated account management and personal consultation available
  • Custom branding and personalisation services offered
  • Flexible payment terms for established accounts (subject to credit approval)
  • Professional venue consultation and sample services included
  • Priority production and expedited delivery options available

14. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Customer information handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
  • Data used for order processing, delivery, and customer service
  • Marketing communications sent with consent only
  • Data security measures in place to protect your information

15. Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa
  • Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation and mediation
  • If mediation fails, disputes will be submitted to arbitration or South African courts
  • Jurisdiction: South African courts

  • We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements
  • Customers will be notified of material changes
  • Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of revised terms
